Muse Knoxville highly values community engagement and volunteerism and recognizes the monumental impact that volunteers have on every aspect of our organization. We believe that each of our volunteers serves to cultivate an environment of creativity, curiosity, and STEM-based learning for children to experience the power of play.

Muse Knoxville is a nonprofit children’s science museum dedicated to inspiring and empowering young minds through hands-on, STEM-based learning experiences. Located in Knoxville, Tennessee, the museum fosters creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking in a welcoming environment for all children and families. At Muse Knoxville, children are the center of our work. We encourage their fullest potential as artists, scientists, inventors, explorers, and whatever they dream they can be!

We are thankful for every volunteer who helps us on our journey to provide transformative learning experiences to the children and guests that we serve. Our volunteer needs include individual shifts to weekly recurring roles to corporate volunteer days. We couldn't do it without you!
