Fun on the outside, serious about animals on the inside. Zoo Knoxville is committed to being part of the solution to save species from extinction, both locally and globally.

Zoo Knoxville is a focal point of our community and provides a safe place for locals and tourists to learn, explore, experience, and grow. Volunteers help year round with activities including:

- Special Events like Boo at the Zoo!

- Beautification projects such as landscaping, leaf raking, mulching

- We also have year-round volunteers who help with teaching the public and animal care
