Beyond the Cover Academy

Our mission is to bring enrichment beyond the classroom. Helping at-risk children become who they're destined to be no matter what their situation maybe.

Here at BeYond the Cover Academy is an organization committed to offering leadership development, business skills training, service learning, faith and Entreprenurial opportunities for the youth and families they serve. ​ Beyond the Cover Academy hosts 2 different classes. Amara Kids Modeling/Destined to be mentoring camps ranging from 6 weeks to 112 weeks that focus on providing pathways to success for underserved youth through internships and business training to promote and encourage becoming self-sustaining through entrepreneurship during this pandemic. The cost of the camps is: $250-$450 and include certificates of completion, Guidebooks and T-shirts for all campers who graduate from the program they will also be featured in our Amara Kid- Prenuer magazine. BeYond the Cover Academy serves youth primarily from underserved and low-income communities who would benefit from the program by encouraging long term internships and community involvement and service. By developing essential business skills and participating in enrichment activities that are not always available to young people in their communities, participants increase the likelihood of obtaining a high school diploma or trade certification and improve their quality of life personally and professionally.
