Our mission is to showcase the best of the Southern American Spokenword/Poetry community while fostering a safe and inclusive community for all.

Southern Fried Poetry Slam is a organization dedicated to promoting the craft of slam poetry. We travel to different southern cities each year to compete and celebrate this artform. During this time, we give back to the community and share the stories of people from all over the country. We are need volunteers to act as judges for our bouts and to be greeters for our visiting poets.
