Elementary school students are not old enough to drive, work, vote, or be the boss. But that doesn’t stop them from operating banks, managing restaurants, writing checks, and voting for mayor at JA BizTown! The program combines in-class learning with a day-long visit to this fully-interactive simulated town facility located in Clinton, TN. The program helps students connect the dots between what they learn in school and the real world. You can volunteer to help guide these students during their day-long visit to BizTown at the JA facility in Clinton, TN.
JA BizTown is an experiential-based learning program offered by Junior Achievement of East Tennessee through Junior Achievement USA®. The JA BizTown experience is brought to life by teachers who incorporate into their daily teaching lessons a JA BizTown curriculum which encompasses financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship – the “Economics of Life!”
