Marble Springs State Historic Site has teamed up with multiple organizations including the Knox County Garden Club to turn one of our fields into a scenic Sunflower Patch Saturday, May 22 @ 11 AM! We need assistance, under the guidance of the Knox County Garden club, to help plant over 9400 sq ft of Sunflowers! We will be planting seedlings as well as seeds.
Volunteers should be prepared to work outside in attire. Tools will be provided but bringing your own gloves may be helpful! Planting begins at 11 AM at Marble Springs and goes until completion. Refreshments will be provided. Partial help is more than welcome!
