MEDIC needs volunteers for general assistance on April 27 - 29.
Duties may include:
- Folding t-shirts
- Stocking snacks
- Offering snacks/drinks to donors
- General clean-up in cantina and donor lobby
General Information:
MEDIC Regional Blood Center Volunteer Program is not an employment relationship. Volunteers are not compensated and are not eligible for employee benefits or insurance and are responsible for their own workers’ compensation insurance.
Volunteers must provide their own transportation to and from all-volunteer assignments, orientation, and any additional training. Volunteers may ride in MEDIC vehicles with an approved MEDIC driver. MEDIC will not accept volunteer phlebotomists.
MEDIC does not accept court-ordered community service.
Those ages 15-17 can volunteer with parental consent (Ref: Volunteer Permission Form).
All volunteers over the age of 18 must complete a Background/Screening Check and will complete the Background Check Disclosure and Authorization form. The background check form will be emailed to volunteers.
