Muse is offering a childcare camp during Knox County School's winter break! Volunteers are needed to assist our camp educators and help our camp kiddos have the most memorable experience at Muse. Some specific tasks include interacting with camp kiddos when they arrive, assisting during lessons and activities, making sure camp kiddos are being safe during exhibit floor play time, and other tasks as assigned by Muse staff. This volunteer position does require a background check (at no cost to you).
*Please note: Muse Knoxville has a volunteer no-show policy. If you do not show up for your scheduled shift 3 times, you are no longer able to volunteer with Muse. We understand that unforeseen circumstances do come up. If you are no longer able to attend your scheduled shift, please unregister from the opportunity and/or email Shelby Cornell -shelby@themuseknoxville.org. Thank you!
Please look over the following requirements to be sure you are eligible for a volunteer role.
- Be at least 16 years old (if under the age of 16, an adult must accompany you during your shift)
- Be friendly and enthusiastic
- Enjoy interacting with children and families
- Have not been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor in the last 5 years
