Muse is hosting its annual Grandfriends event for grandparents and their grandchildren! This is a ticketed fundraising event that includes breakfast, gingerbread house decorating, and museum playtime. Volunteers are needed to help set up the classroom for the event, assist during the gingerbread decoration portion, and clean up the classroom for the first scheduled birthday party that day. *Please note: Muse Knoxville has a volunteer no-show policy. If you do not show up for your scheduled shift 3 times, you are no longer able to volunteer with Muse. We understand that unforeseen circumstances do come up. If you are no longer able to attend your scheduled shift, please unregister from the opportunity and/or email Shelby Cornell -shelby@themuseknoxville.org. Thank you!
Please look over the following requirements to be sure you are eligible for a volunteer role.
- Be at least 16 years old (if under the age of 16, an adult must accompany you during your shift)
- Be friendly and enthusiastic
- Enjoy interacting with children and families
- Have not been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor in the last 5 years
