A solar eclipse is happening on October 14th that will be partially visible in east Tennessee and Muse is going to make a celebration of it! As a science museum, among all things STEAM-related, we are going to offer eclipse themed activities all day long to our guests exploring the museum. Our goal is to have 5 different eclipse activities and we need volunteers to make this happen! Volunteers will facilitate the activities and interact with children and families who come to check out each activity as they play on our exhibit floor.
Please look over the following requirements to be sure you are eligible for a volunteer role.
Requirements:
Be at least 16 years old (if under the age of 16, an adult must accompany you during your shift)
Be friendly and enthusiastic
Enjoy interacting with children and families
Have not been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor in the last 5 years
