Description

Volunteers are needed to help park staff remove some pesky invasive plant species from a section of the park. The target species include privet, honeysuckle, winter creeper, and multiflora rose. Volunteers will be cutting and pulling invasive plants in a designated section of the park. Volunteers should plan on meeting Ranger Stephanie in the parking lot near the Bluebird Barn off of Kelly Lane at 9:00am. Hand tools will be provided, but if you have your own that you would like to use please bring them. Some work gloves will be available as well, but please bring your own if you have them. 

Volunteers should bring water with them and wear appropriate clothing for the weather. In case of forecasted inclement weather registered participants will be contacted within 24 hours of the event.
