Keep America Beautiful's annual event the Great American Cleanup runs from March 20-June 21. Meet Ranger Stephanie on Saturday, March 25 at 9:00am to clean up litter from beside the trails and shorelines of Seven Islands. Trash bags, nitrile gloves, and some litter tongs/grabbers will be available for participants to use. Volunteers can spread out throughout the park on their own and hike whichever trail sections they would like. If you are interested in helping park staff in the battle against invasive plant species you also have the option of helping remove thistle and mullein from an area of the park in need of attention. This is a great opportunity for kids and families to volunteer a little bit of their time to keep Seven Islands beautiful! This is a free volunteer event.
