This position will take place outside in our Show Arena. It will consist of helping groups of students from one station to another at our Down on the Farm event. Down on the farm is an agriculture-based educational event where students visit and learn about agriculture at different stations. It will require walking and standing. We recommend wearing weather appropriate clothing, as well as closed toed shoes.
**If you are able to volunteer for a portion of time, but not the entire time, that's okay!
Anyone who volunteers with the Tennessee Valley Fair will receive complimentary fair tickets and parking passes to return to the fair with their family and friends! A fair staff t-shirt will also be provided to each volunteer. During each volunteer shift, drinks will be provided.
Please Note: A mandatory volunteer orientation will take place on September 2nd, 2021. In order to become an official volunteer with the fair, you must attend this meeting. Also, all adults ages 18 years and older must submit to a background check. More information will be provided in a follow up email.
