READY TO GO DEEPER IN RELATIONSHIP WITH MOTHER-LED FAMILIES?
Join a team of 5-7 allies from local churches ranging in age and life experience helping to cultivate a diverse and mutually supportive community! Ally Teams are a key component of The Restoration House program which focuses on relational and spiritual support as well as social capital.
The qualifications are as follows:
- Follower of Christ and an active member of a local congregation
- Willingness to learn alongside the participating family
- Patience and persistence for the inevitable “ups and downs” of the journey
- Committed to journey with the a TRH family for up to 2 years, and beyond
- Eagerness to provide relational and spiritual support as well as social capital
- Excited to celebrate each ‘small’ step, recognizing it’s the small steps that make up the journey
Time commitment:
- Weekly contact with assigned participating family (phone call, email, text, card etc)
- Monthly social activity with participating family (such as watching a movie, going to the park, grabbing a cup of coffee together or other things friends do together)
- Attend bi-annual Family Nights sponsored by The Restoration House and designed to strengthen Ally relationships
