Phyllis Wheatley Community Day of Service

Looking to come together with community members and make a large impact?

YWCA's Phyllis Wheatley Center in East Knoxville is seeking volunteers to assist with a variety of tasks. Help us prepare the center before students go back to school! Volunteers will assist with furniture building, organizing and putting together empowerment zone rooms, garden assistance and more.

Can't stay the entire day? Volunteers are encouraged to assist for at least an hour duration.

Parking is free and can be found on site. Volunteers should wear clothes that they are comfortable moving around in and can get messy. Please bring water to stay hydrated and cool!
