Help us debut Knoxville's newest green space! The Knoxville Botanical Garden & Arboretum is celebrating a historic milestone: the dedication of the Howell Legacy Garden. We are looking for five Event Ambassadors to help provide a warm welcome and smooth arrival for our community as they gather to celebrate this beautiful new addition to the grounds.
This is a fantastic opportunity to see the new garden layout firsthand and support the Botanical Garden team during a high-profile afternoon.
What You’ll Do
- Welcome Team: Greet arriving vehicles and visitors with a friendly smile as they enter the grounds.
- Wayfinding: Direct guests to designated parking areas and point them toward the check-in and ceremony site.
- Garden Insider: Help maintain a celebratory atmosphere by ensuring arrivals are seamless and stress-free.

What to Expect
- Shift Details: This role is entirely outdoors and requires standing/walking for the 2-hour duration.
- Attire: "Garden Casual" - please wear a collared shirt with neat pants/shorts and comfortable, closed-toe walking shoes.
- Orientation: Please arrive by 3:30 PM for a quick briefing on the parking plan and garden layout.
