The Emerald Academy Learning Garden is a robust vegetable garden that is used to teach students agricultural skills and provide food for families. With 4000 square feet of growing and gathering space, it not only has sent home over 200 pounds of produce with families last season, but it also provides habitat for native pollinators.
The garden is transitioning from a raised bed set up to an in-ground set up. We will be moving mulch and compost to get the garden ready for summer planting!
