Spring Hill Elementary has a beautiful raised bed vegetable garden, an outdoor classroom, and a native garden space that is used to support curricular and afterschool education and provide food for families. With a weekly garden club and lessons throughout the school year, teachers and students are excited to learn in their outdoor space!
To keep the space functional and beautiful for students and teachers, occasional workdays are necessary. This workday, we will be adding in-ground beds to expand vegetable production, in addition to doing other tasks in the native garden and around the school's campus.
