Are you passionate about the LGBTQ+ community and want to get more involved in the local community? Volunteering at SoKno Pride may be the perfect opportunity for you!
We are looking for volunteers to help us with our third annual event on June 29th, 2024 on Sevier Avenue in South Knoxville, Tennessee. We need volunteers in the following areas:
-Vendor set-up (think college drop off day!) and Vendor Liaison
-Entertainment/Stage Point-of-Contact
-Floaters
-Engagers/Communicators/Information Extraordinaire
-Trash removal/site maintenance
-Something we haven't even thought of yet!
If you are unable to help us on June 29th, we are also needing volunteers to help us with the clean-up after the event on June 30th.
More information regarding parking/transportation, where the volunteer table will be located, what tasks are assigned to which people, etc. will be shared with the volunteers closer to the event. As a confirmed volunteer, you will receive a t-shirt and food/water throughout the day of your assigned shift.
