Volunteer: JustLead Ministry Small Group Leaders

Every Wednesday, Emerald Youth's JustLead Ministry offers a discipleship opportunity for youth and the community. Each afterschool location has an evening filled with fun games, a Bible lesson, corporate worship, and other faith activities. We are looking for volunteers who would be willing to lead students in small groups to discuss the Bible message of the week. We serve elementary, middle, and high school age students.  Commitment:  Wednesdays from 5:30-7:00 pm at one of our JustLead locations

Lead or participate in any one of the aforementioned activities for elementary, middle and high school age young people. Mostly on Wednesday evenings or during weekend camps/retreats.


TIMES: School Year: weekdays 3:00-5:30 pm or some evenings depending on age of youth Summer: during the day on weekdays

COMMITMENT: School year preferred, but one school semester accepted; or summer program

ORGANIZATION SUMMARY:
Emerald Youth Foundation is a Christian, urban youth and community ministry in Knoxville, TN serving over 2,000 young people annually. Emerald Youth’s ministry is implemented through a network of more than 18 churches and faith-based organizations to raise up a large number of urban youth who love Jesus Christ and become effective leaders who help renew their communities.

Emerald Youth Sports | Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer, Swimming, Baseball, Track, Wrestling, and Flag Football.

Coach- Plan practices, attend games, communicate with parents and players. Actively interact with and encourage players. Assistant Coach - assist in planning practices, attend games, communicate with parents and players. Actively interact with and encourage players. Scorekeeper - Prepare and provide prayer and devotion for players during practice and games.

Time(s): Weekday evening practices (2x a week) held (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday). Games on the weekends. Total commitment is 2-5 hours a week per season.

*All selected volunteer candidates are required to complete a background screening prior to placement in a volunteer opportunity with Emerald Youth Foundation.
