Volunteer: Help ReLAUNCH serve the homeless under the bridgeReLAUNCH is in need of volunteers 18 years of age and older to help us serve the homeless at the Under the Bridge (the Day Space*). You can check in at the KARM Courtyard is located at 408 N. Broadway, and the Day Space is located under the I-40 overpass. On an ongoing daily basis, these are some of the tasks we need help with during the day: Preparation for mealsServe meals (breakfast @ 8:30am, lunch @ 12:30pm and dinner @ 4:30pm)Sweep/clean the Courtyard and surrounding areaRemove trash from the Day SpaceClean bathrooms at the CourtyardSort donations (clothing and supplies) Volunteer shifts available are as follows: 7:30am-9:30am9:30am-11:30am11:30am-1:30pm1:30pm-3:30pm3:30pm-5:30pmPlease follow this link to fill out our liability waiver here. ReLAUNCH is currently operating the KARM Courtyard concession building, so please check in with us there. The courtyard gates open at 8am, but a staff member will be there earlier to let you in. You cannot park in the KARM parking lot with getting a permit from the front desk at KARM. *The Day Space is considered a "Safe Use" area. During your volunteer shift, you may see active drug use. **Duties may vary based on need and availability. Some of this service will include trash pickup in the Day Space, sorting donations, etc., if another agency is serving meals in place of ReLAUNCH.
