Big Brothers Big Sisters of East TN

Our mission is to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. Our vision is for all youth to achieve their full potential.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Tennessee (BBBS) has been serving the community since 1970 and is an affiliate member agency of Big Brother Big Sisters of America (BBBSA), the nation’s oldest and largest youth mentoring organization. BBBS provides services in the following East Tennessee counties: Anderson, Blount, Hawkins, Knox, Sullivan, and Washington. The primary offices are located in Knoxville and in Kingsport. The Knoxville office houses administrative functions for the entire region and service delivery for the Tennessee Valley. Service delivery for the TriCities area is handled through the Kingsport office. The organization is governed by a volunteer board of directors and supported by one (1) advisory council through fundraising and community awareness efforts.
