The Rooted East Knoxville Collective is committed to addressing food apartheid by restoring back to the black community through self-sufficiency, gardening, food education and overall wellness. The Rooted East Knoxville Collective's vision is to recreate East Knoxville's foodscape.

We are a movement establishing a self-sufficient and community-led food system. This will create a thriving, resilient, and equitable black community. Through collective partnerships, Rooted East fosters collective education, skills training and holistic well-being.
