Founded in 2022, Life International Fellowship (L.I.F.) is a network of Christian churches and ministry leaders dedicated to equipping leaders, strengthening ministries, and serving communities. While our foundation is faith-based, we believe that lasting community transformation happens when practical service and compassionate leadership work hand in hand.
Recognizing the growing needs within our communities, Life International Fellowship established its Community Impact Division to serve as the organization's outreach and volunteer engagement arm. Our mission is to strengthen individuals, families, and neighborhoods by connecting people with resources, education, strategic partnerships, and compassionate services that improve quality of life and create healthier, more thriving communities.
Under the leadership of our founder, Bishop Farris Long, our organization builds upon more than 30 years of ministry experience and nearly two decades of community service. Since relocating to Knoxville in 2013, Bishop Long has worked alongside local organizations, volunteers, churches, and community leaders to address real needs through meaningful partnerships and hands-on service.
Although our Community Impact Division is still expanding, we have already led and supported a variety of community initiatives, including annual neighborhood block parties, food and resource distributions, technology assistance for older adults, youth and family engagement events, educational workshops, and collaborative outreach efforts that bring together churches, nonprofit organizations, businesses, and civic leaders for the common good.
As we continue to grow, we are developing additional programs focused on digital literacy, workforce readiness, financial literacy, youth leadership development, senior services, caregiver support, community health education, and technology access for underserved populations. While several of these initiatives are currently in development, they represent our long-term commitment to building stronger communities through sustainable, collaborative solutions.
At Life International Fellowship's Community Impact Division, we believe that no single organization can meet every need alone. By partnering with volunteers, nonprofits, businesses, schools, healthcare providers, government agencies, and faith communities, we strive to bridge the gap between need and opportunity—empowering individuals, strengthening families, and helping our communities not simply survive, but thrive.
