The second annual Telethon benefitting Make-A-Wish East Tennessee will be on Thursday, June 6 at both WJHL and WATE news stations. The Telethon runs from 9 am - 8 pm, and as a fundraising event, volunteers will be stationed at the phone bank in one-hour shifts to answer phone and process donations online.
Volunteer Shifts are 9 am, 10 am, 12 pm, 4 pm, 5-pm, 6 pm, 7 pm. There is a need to have six volunteers for each shift. These shifts are for WJHL in Johnson City.
