Family Fun Day is a free event open to the public, welcoming all ages and abilities. Attendees can enjoy arts activities, family entertainment, food, music, and a chance to explore our galleries. It’s a fantastic opportunity for students to engage with the community, earn volunteer hours, and experience the joy of helping others.
This vibrant event has exciting art activities inspired by 12th Knox Asian Festival, as well as art from the KMA Collection and the works of Catherine Wiley. This fun filled day will include hands on art projects, music, storytelling, face painting, and more!
**Application, copy of photo ID, and confirmation of volunteer shift from KMA staff required before entering the museum** A waitlist will be started once all positions are filled.

Volunteer Duties:
- Volunteers will assist with various tasks, including:
- Event setup
- Managing art activity tables
- Greeting visitors and providing information
- Supporting vendors
- Assisting with crowd control
- Helping with event cleanup
You will be given a particular assignment upon arrival at check-in. Please let me know if you have any sort of physical limitations that would prevent you from performing any of the aforementioned tasks, and we will try our best to accommodate your needs.
Volunteer Shifts:
9:45am – 1:15pm
9:45am – 3:30pm
12:45pm – 3:30pm
