At the end of each school year, our Emerald Academy staff work hard to put the school "back together" after a year of wear and tear. The school's building has been around since 1930, so you can imagine how important it is to keep it up to date with each passing year. We really need some volunteers to help us with this feat!
Volunteers could be doing any of the following: painting, changing out bad ceiling tiles, changing light bulbs, cleaning air duct vents and surrounding areas, scrubbing tables and chairs, cleaning out dust and debris from light fixtures, cleaning windows, painting doors, scrubbing bathrooms, pressure washing, moving office furniture around, clearing out junk, taking down decorations from halls, doors, and classrooms, clearing out classrooms for floor maintenance, putting together new furniture.
