Non-profit organizations like The Salvation Army usually have small staff that are extremely busy. Sometimes the little chores around the building fall aside while we are busy serving the needs of the people who need our help.
Would you be willing to help us address some of those small things that keep getting pushed aside until "later"?
We need help with basic cleaning in our buildings. Chores might include:
- wiping down furniture or walls
- vacuuming
- sweeping and mopping
- cleaning windows
- cleaning bathrooms
- deep cleaning the kitchen
- organizing closets, etc.
To sign up: just choose a shift and sign up, then email Tracy to let her know you are coming so that we're ready for you. Days and hours are flexible with advanced notice.
This is a great opportunity for small groups!
High school students may be able to volunteer if they bring adult supervision with them. Contact Tracy for more information.
