Join our outdoor learning partners as they provide a multi-partner, one-site experience for middle school students from a few Knox County Schools. Volunteers will support the day in a variety of ways- help with set up, assist students from session to session, monitor boundaries, and clean up. Shifts available.
Location: Seven Islands State Birding Park- 2809 Kelly Ln, Kodak, TN 37764
Date: Tuesday, October 21st (rain date Tuesday, October 28th)
Time: 8:00am-2:30pm (fieldtrip experience for students is 9:30am-1:30pm)
Shift 1: 8am-11:30am
Shift 2: 11am-2:30pm
Shift 3: 8am-2:30pm
- The park is 30-40 minutes away. Parking onsite available.
- Bring your own lunch/drink 11:30am-12:00pm. One bottle of water per person is provided. Portable bathrooms are provided onsite.
