Join us at Dogwood Elementary School to help do some much-needed maintenance in our outdoor classes. Our school campus has two internal courtyards, a nationally recognized arboretum, a huge playing field, and multiple garden beds. Keeping our spaces usable for our students and community is essential to ensuring everyone in our community can readily access nature.
Be prepared to get dirty as we clean up these spaces. Each event focuses on a different space, but you can expect to pull weeds and cut down invasive plants.
All ages and skill level welcome, but some tools, such as weed whackers, will be utilized during the event. Closed toe shoes and long pants are always encouraged!
