For the past 30 years, YWCA has hosted hundreds of community members annually for Diversity Day and Race Against Racism. This event is a celebration of diversity and the YWCA’s mission to eliminate racism and empower women. Join us on January 17, 2026, at the YWCA Phyllis Wheatley Center for our 30th Annual Diversity Day and Race Against Racism. Breakfast provided.
Parking is available at Tabernacle Baptist Church or through the gate in front of our center. YWCA staff members will be available to direct you to our parking. After 7:30 am, Cruze St. will be closed, and the only available parking will be at Tabernacle Church.
Volunteer opportunities will begin outside and finish inside, so make sure to wear warm clothes! Even if you can't stay for the whole event, we'd love to have you!
