Looking for a meaningful way to spend a couple of hours over Memorial Day weekend? Knoxville Botanical Garden & Arboretum is hosting its first art exhibit in recent years, and we're looking for warm, curious volunteers to help bring it to life.
You'll spend two hours in a beautiful exhibit space created inside the KBGA Carriage House showcasing original work by local artists Ashlee Mays and Annie Rochelle. During this time, volunteers welcome visitors, answer questions, and help connect people with artwork that's available for purchase.
The exhibit is part of AVIFAUNA 2026, a month-long regional celebration of birds and their relationship with human life, organized by the Museum of Infinite Outcomes. Volunteer shifts are available Saturday morning 10am-12pm and Sunday afternoon 1-3pm with just one to two spots per shift.
It's a low-key, rewarding way to support local artists, connect with fellow community members, and spend a morning surrounded by nature and creativity at one of Knoxville's most beloved green spaces.
Registration Note: To claim one of the 4 available spots, please click "Respond" on this page AND complete the supplemental registration via our official volunteer portal. Registration on our portal is required to receive final arrival instructions and parking maps.
