Help Us Give Pond Gap's Front Entrance a Fresh Start!
Pond Gap Elementary is looking for a few kind hands to spruce up the flower bed by our front entrance before the new school year begins. It's a small job with a big impact — this is the first thing every student, parent, and visitor sees when they walk through our doors!
This gardening project can be completed anytime that fits your schedule! We only ask that it is completed prior to Wednesday, August 5th, 2026. To arrange your time or to ask questions, please reach out to Gab Bargeloh (bargelohg@unitedwayknox.org).
What you'll do: Pull weeds and help tidy up a small flower bed (about 10 square feet) — quick, easy, and satisfying work.
What to bring: Your own gardening gloves and clothes you don't mind getting a little dirty.
Good to know: This is an outdoor-only project — volunteers won't need access to the inside of the school building.
Even an hour of your time will help our students start the year off with a welcoming, well-loved school entrance. We'd love to have you!
