You'll be right in the action during the biggest fundraising moments of the night!
Your Game Plan (You'll be paired up based on tech vs. physical tasks):
- iPad & Register Crew: Process payments for auction winners, donations, and memberships on tablets, update the winner board, and hand out winning certificates.
- Auction Runners & Loaders: Retrieve winning items, match them with guest receipts, and assist guests by carrying heavy or bulky items out to their vehicles.
What to Expect (The Real Talk)
- Fast-Paced & Detail-Oriented: The last hour of the night gets busy fast! iPad operators need to feel comfortable navigating simple tech on the fly with friendly customer service.
- Physical Effort: Light to Heavy: If you are on item pickup/loading duty, expect to lift, carry, and haul packages or heavy plant arrangements across outdoor lawn terrain to the parking lot.
- 100% Outdoors / Under the Tent: You could be on your feet moving around the auction area and grounds for the 3-hour shift, so plan accordingly. Otherwise you'll be on checkout duty behind a table.
- What to Wear: It's a Garden Party, so Dressy Casual / Neat attire (think sundresses or khakis) is required. Comfortable shoes are essential for navigating grass and gravel safely at night.
