As the first friendly faces our guests see, you set the tone for the entire night! You’ll be front-and-center under the main entrance tent, rolling out the red-carpet vibe for our donors, supporters, and VIPs.
Your Game Plan:
- Nametag Navigators (8–9 vols): Help guests quickly locate their pre-printed nametags as they arrive so they can jump straight into the party.
- Guest Concierge & On-Site Badging (3–4 vols): Handwrite custom nametags for late additions/walk-ups, direct guests to dinner tables and bars, and answer general event questions.
What to Expect (The Real Talk)
- Social & Fast-Paced: This is a high-energy role! You’ll be greeting dozens of people back-to-back as the crowd arrives. Great for outgoing personalities who love hospitality and making people feel welcome.
- On Your Feet: Expect to be standing and moving around the check-in area outdoors (under shelter) for the full 2.5-hour shift.
What to Wear: Festive / Dressy Casual. Since you are representing the event to incoming guests, please dress neatly! Smart, comfortable shoes are strongly encouraged since you'll be standing on outdoor ground.
