The Volunteer Ministry Center (VMC) Dental Clinic provides dental services to the homeless and poor in the Knox County area. Our dental clinic is vital to those we serve and many of the patients treated at the VMC Dental Clinic have never received dental care before.
The VMC Dental Clinic provides the following services: fillings, extractions, cleanings, dentures/partials, and limited denture repair/adjustments.
The VMC Dental Clinic is the only one of its kind in the area and it relies on volunteer dentists, dental hygienists, and dental assistants to provide its services. Dental professionals can volunteer their time whenever it is convenient for them. We have volunteers come one day each quarter, one day a month, twice a month, or once a week. These days can be half or whole days!
All volunteers must complete a volunteer one on one with our volunteer coordinator and complete a background check and application before beginning to volunteer.
