Many people give thanks for the special people and places in their lives in November. Want to show your appreciation for Seven Islands and lend a helping hand? Join park staff on Saturday, November 21 from 9am-12pm to help with pulling weeds and thinning out some areas of the Wild Yards Garden. Participants should bring gloves if they have them, but some gloves will be available if needed. Participants are asked to please bring a face mask/covering for times when proper social distancing is not possible.
Please plan on arriving at the Bluebird Barn by the main parking lot on Kelly Lane at 9:00 AM. We will be weeding all of the landscaped areas around the barn. If you have questions regarding this volunteer event, please contact Ranger Stephanie at stephanie.mueller@tn.gov or 865-407-8335.
