Our little corner of Knoxville on Thorn Grove Pike has recently become a litter zone and needs some tender love and care. Join us for some much needed trash pick up starting at Dollar General, past Historic Ramsey House, and continuing towards Cinder Lane. Gloves, safety vests, safety signs, litter pickers, and trash bags for our clean up efforts will be provided by Keep Knoxville Beautiful.
This volunteer opportunity is a great way to give back to the community while remaining socially distant. Supplies listed above, parking, and restrooms are available at Historic Ramsey House. Masks are required when entering any buildings and when unable to to remain more than 6 feet away from other staff/volunteers.
Please be sure to wear sturdy waterproof shoes and clothing appropriate for walking through brush.
