ORGANIZATION SUMMARY:
Emerald Youth Foundation is a Christian, urban youth and community ministry in Knoxville, TN serving over 2,000 young people annually. Emerald Youth’s ministry is implemented through a network of more than 18 churches and faith-based organizations to raise up a large number of urban youth who love Jesus Christ and become effective leaders who help renew their communities.
Emerald Youth Sports | Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer, Swimming, Baseball, Track, Wrestling, and Flag Football.
- Coach- Plan practices, attend games, communicate with parents and players. Actively interact with and encourage players.
- Assistant Coach - assist in planning practices, attend games, communicate with parents and players. Actively interact with and encourage players.
- Scorekeeper - Prepare and provide prayer and devotion for players during practice and games.
Time(s): Weekday evening practices (2x a week) held (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday). Games on the weekends. Total commitment is 2-5 hours a week per season.
*All selected volunteer candidates are required to complete a background screening prior to placement in a volunteer opportunity with Emerald Youth Foundation.
