Volunteers needed to hand out food boxes from 9am-12pm
Help distribute food to grandparents who are raising their grandkids. This is a collaboration of the Office on Aging and Second Harvest.
Distribution occurs on the 1st Thursday each month. One-time and regular volunteers welcome!
Grandparents drive thru at Beardsley Farms and volunteers load food boxes into their car. Beardsley Farms is located at 1741 Reynolds St, Knoxville, TN 37921. Take the second left off Reynolds; if you make it to the Mobile Meals Kitchen, you need to go one turn further. Beardsley has an outdoor basketball court and parking area beside a pavilion and building (image below).
