The Salvation Army is seeking individuals to help serve lunch for residents in our shelters. This opportunity serves food from a serving line and assist with other kitchen duties, as needed. Kitchen duties can include sweeping, cleaning and disinfecting tables and/or rinsing dishes.
Once you sign up for a shift, you are officially confirmed to volunteer. Please arrive at our Knoxville Area Command at 409 N Broadway, Knoxville, TN. You can park in our main parking lot, and please notify the security guard that you are here to volunteer. You will be directed where to go once you check in at the front desk. If you are volunteering on a date when the main office is closed, please walk around the back of the building to the kitchen entrance.
