In-Office Volunteer

Our In-Office Volunteers are the first voices our guest families hear when they initially call to ask about our services. These volunteers typically serve for one 3-4 hour block on a week day afternoon. A typical afternoon is filled with initial phone calls, phone interviews for qualifying families (for our emergency shelter program), data input (typing case notes), and providing referrals to other relevant local services and resources.
