At SEEED, we believe nothing stops poverty like homeownership.
SEEED’s first-ever solar home is currently under construction in the Lonsdale community - one of the most impoverished areas of Knoxville. After construction is complete the home will be sold well under market value to a low-income family to create instant equity and the opportunity for generational wealth.
You can help us make homeownership attainable for a local low-income family. Volunteer to help us install roof trusses and complete other light construction work. PPE is required (hard hat, safety vest, eye protection, and safety boots) and must be provided by the volunteer.
