Help distribute food to grandparents who are raising their grandkids. This is a collaboration of The Office on Aging and Second Harvest.
Distribution occurs on the 1st Thursday each month. One-time and regular volunteers welcome! Upcoming service dates include: Thursday, May 5th and Thursday, June 2nd as well as Thursday, July 7.
A few of our grandparents no longer drive. Volunteers pick up food boxes at Beardsley Farm and drop them off along a delivery route of 4-6 residences. Routes usually take two hours to complete. Beardsley Farms is located at 1741 Reynolds St, Knoxville, TN 37921.
