Volunteer at one of the biggest and best culinary events in the region - the Big Kahuna Wing Festival!
All volunteers will receive a free volunteer t-shirt and 10 free wings!!
Last year, the festival drew over 8,000 attendees who enjoyed over 100 different sauces from 25 different teams representing restaurants, cooking teams, and businesses. Attendees and visitors come from all over the region, all for the love of the “Buffalo Wing” and to raise money for charity.
The benefiting charitable organizations for 2022 are the East Tennessee Children's Hospital, Boys and Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley, The Empty Stocking Fund, and UT Culinary Institute.

Responsibilities vary by shift. See descriptions and sign up below:
- Friday, September 2 from 3 PM - 8 PM: load in and set up tables, similar tasks may be assigned
- Saturday, September 3 from 8 AM - 12 PM and 12 PM - 4 PM: put up signs, set up bike racks around the perimeter, set out tables & chairs, and similar tasks may be assigned
- Sunday, September 4 from 10 AM - 4 PM and 3:30 PM - 9 PM: selling merchandise, helping with volunteer check-in, selling water/sodas/beer, cleaning VIP area, assisting stage manager, greeting ticket holders, similar tasks may be assigned
