Join as we continue the ‘Tennessee River Grand Slam Cleanup Series presented by AFTCO’ on Cherokee Lake of the Holston River, a tributary of the Tennessee River. This river cleanup will be made much bigger with our partners at Living Lands & Waters bringing three of their 30-foot boats added to our two. The cleanup series is also made possible by funding from the Tennessee Valley Authority and Nobody Trashes Tennessee (TDOT).
Our fantastic partners at the Cherokee Lake Users Association and the Care NET (an affiliate of the Tennessee Chapter of the Sierra Club) are helping us to host the cleanup on Cherokee Lake.
Bottled water, closed-toed shoes, and pants required.
