Southern Skies Music Festival, produced by Dogwood Arts, will return to World’s Fair Park in Knoxville, TN on May 20-21, 2023. Curated by hometown favorites The Dirty Guv’nahs, the two-day event will feature musical acts across two stages, food trucks, specialty drinks, a Maker Market, and more. The 2nd Annual event will feature Grace Potter, St. Paul & the Broken Bones, The Dirty Guv’nahs, Black Joe Lewis, Jackie Venson, The Stews, Cruz Contreras, Doc Robinson, Cece Coakley, EG Vines, Kelsi Walker & the Nervous Kids, Brian Clay with Lauren Arp, and Ben McLaughlin & the Mystic Marauders.
We hope you will join us as a volunteer for the event! We are looking for volunteers to assist our staff during festival set-up, volunteer check-in, ticket sales and wristband check, our merchandise tent, and beverage sales. We couldn't produce a festival of this magnitude without our wonderful and dedicated volunteers and are looking forward to seeing you in May for Southern Skies!
Volunteers will receive a volunteer t-shirt and a one-day pass for free admission to the Southern Skies Music Festival for each completed volunteer shift! Sign up now by first answering whether you are over or under the age of 21 and then selecting your preferred shift time.
Please note that the Friday volunteer shifts are setup for the Festival. These opportunities will involve some physical activity and all volunteers should have no limitations that would prevent standing for the full length of the shift or to move objects (such as boxes or chairs).
Due to low sign up for our evening shifts, any volunteer who successfully completes the Saturday 7 pm to 11 pm shift or the Sunday 7 pm to 11 pm shift will be eligible for an additional day pass.
Passes: Friday volunteers can get passes for either Saturday or Sunday at the end of the shift. Saturday volunteers can arrive early and get a Saturday pass or can get a Sunday pass at the end of the shift. Sunday volunteers can arrive early and get a Sunday pass or get a Sunday pass at the end of the shift. If you work multiple shifts, you may give the additional pass(es) to a friend or family member if you choose. Evening shifts (7pm to 11 pm) are eligible for an additional day pass.
