About the Event
10 YEARS OF TERROR! Terror in the Woods returns on June 17 to Ijams for its 10-year anniversary!
Join Ijams and Central Cinema for everyone's favorite summer scare event, featuring The Craft and The Blair Witch Project. And that's not all! FrightWorks' haunted trail will be back in full force; you may never want to walk in the woods alone again! It's going to be epic!
Grab your favorite blanket or lawn chair and get ready to scream (with delight). Doors open at 7 pm and movies and trail begin at dark (~9 pm).
Food trucks and beer garden will have tasty meals, snacks, and beverages for purchase. NO COOLERS AND NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL PLEASE. Dogs are allowed, but must be on leash at all times and will not be allowed on the haunted trail.
Volunteer Needs
The volunteer shift will begin at 5:30 pm and volunteers will help with setting up the check in area, putting out the special event gates, etc. For the remainder of the event, volunteers will help in a number of ways including redirecting guests, ticket sales and check in, helping with trash and recycling, and take down/clean up at the end of the evening. There is also a haunted trail for this double feature movie event which will need to be taken down after the event also. Headlamps are encouraged if you have any.
This is a mild volunteer activity- no heavy lifting, most of the time, volunteers are seated, but there is a lot of guest interactions. and some physical activity breaking down the haunted trail at the end of the evening
