Gentiva Hospice is seeking Veteran volunteers to honor and support our Veteran hospice patients. As a Veteran volunteer, you can provide the practical and emotional support to our patients and their families when they need it the most.
Visits can take place in their homes, as well as, nursing homes, assisted living, and memory care units.
Volunteers will be provided with ongoing one-to-one staff support throughout their service with us, and will be invited to receive educational opportunities, and appreciation events. Our volunteers must complete an application, interview, background checks, drug screen, hospice orientation, and two-tier TB test.
