Our Make Space area inspires visitors to make it DO, make it NEW, make an IMPACT, and make it YOU.
Our Make Space volunteers organize and assist in the facilitation of fun programming with these themes in mind for a tools-based, creative makerspace while ensuring the safety of both our guests and the exhibit area. They have the confidence to regulate the activity within the space in regards to both visitors and materials. This position is perfect for an art student or someone who just loves to get creative!
While volunteering, you will:

- Help facilitate hands-on arts and crafts projects with children and families
- Help us set up area before opening, keep area organized throughout the shift, and help clean up the area after the shift
- Interact positively with all guests through the power of hands-on play while ensuring the safety of all

Requirements:
Be at least 16 years old (if under the age of 16, an adult must accompany you during your shift)
Be friendly and enthusiastic
Enjoy interacting with children and families
Have not been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor in the last 5 years
